About
Owner Randy Dagel at 15 years old with the very first vehicle he owned and built – a 1936 Chevrolet Pickup
“I put in a 283 Cubic Inch engine, 3 speed stick transmission and rear axle and drive train that was cannibalized out of a totaled out 1957 Chevy Bel-Air, and was driving the gravel back roads of Northwest Iowa way before I ever had a drivers license”.
In the background is his “first garage”, which was actually an old chicken coop that he drug home on telephone pole skids from a neighbors farm homestead.
It was shorty thereafter that Randy entered auto body and paint classes at Northwest Iowa Technical School – now renamed Northwest Iowa Community College.
Forty years later, Randy Dagel is still repairing collision-damaged cars, however the shop he now
owns and operates is the cleanest, most professional state-of-the-art repair facility in the State of Oregon.
